I'm having an open house and fundraiser for the Network Center for Community Change (NC3) to celebrate the launch of Ben Carter Law. NC3 wrote the grant that funded my position at Louisville's Legal Aid Society from 2008–10 and I continue to consult with them as we work toward solutions to our foreclosure crisis and the resulting explosion of vacant and abandoned property in Louisville. It is not an exaggeration to say that without NC3's support, I would not be in Louisville and Ben Carter Law certainly wouldn't be doing the work that I am fortunate and grateful to get to do.
